This is an unique and rare opportunity to own a very collectible and useful 1973 Type T2b Volkswagen bus that is in exceptional original condition. The odometer reads 13,048 miles and the amazing condition of this vehicle reflects this mileage. Powered by the factory original 1.7 Liter flat four cylinder dual carbureted engine that has been updated with an electronic ignition, Bosch distributor, a new coil and a complete recent tune up that included a valve adjustment. The brakes have been recently redone and the tires have been recently replaced with Michelins. The radio and speakers have been updated as well. The most significant feature of this bus is the Adventure Campers of California upgrade package that turns this vehicle into a very useful and functional unit. This upgrade includes a fold down camper bed, table, ice box, closet, sink with a water tank, full curtains, mosquito net and a front Westphalia style children's cot. On the exterior there is a front mounted spare tire that increases the interior room and a really cute roof rack. Included with the bus is the original owners manual.

In the past few years Volkswagen busses have become very popular and their value has been rapidly increasing. Recently, an earlier version full windowed bus that was completely restored brought one million dollars at auction.
