This 1967 Mustang hardtop with 96,590 Actual Miles has undergone extensive mechanical and physical restoration through the years (complete documentation and receipts included) and it is simply adorable. Recently refinished in Rangoon Red with a black vinyl top. The interior is a matching red vinyl and is in excellent condition. Powered by Ford's famous small block 289 c.i. V8 that has been slightly street modified with an Edelbrock aluminum manifold, four barrel Edelbrock carburetor and dual exhaust. The automatic transmission is a Ford based "Cruise-O-Matic". Equipment includes power steering, AM/FM stereo radio with cassette with a CD changer mounted in the trunk, wood rimmed steering wheel, dual adjustable rear view mirrors, black vinyl top, and brand new BF Goodrich tires mounted on custom 15" polished aluminum rims.
In 1991/1992 extensive cosmetic restoration was performed, mainly to the interior and exterior trim pieces at a cost of nearly $4500. Then in 1994, Philadelphia Technologies Inc. totally and completely rebuilt the engine in which nearly $3,000 additional was invested. Most recently in 2009 a complete professional exterior refinishing was performed to give it the stunning look it presently has. All this restoration has brought this Mustang two door hardtop to show quality condition that has been lightly used in the past years. Here is a unique opportunity to own one of the most desirable automobiles ever produced. A complete extensive body on restoration has been performed on this stunning 1968 Camaro Sports coupe. This Camaro has both the RS and the SS options making it truly rare and unique. Powered by a Chevrolet crate 350 c.i. 300 h.p. engine that has an Edelbrock aluminum intake and four barrel carburetor installed. The transmission is a recently totally rebuilt Turbo Hydromatic 350 that compliments the performance engine. Additional features this Camaro has includes: power steering, power front disc brakes, full SS instrumentation including a factory dash mounted tachometer and the four basic instruments mounted in the center console. An updated AM/FM stereo radio with cassette has replaced the original radio without any alterations to the dash board. The exterior finish is a Metallic Rally Green with black stripes on the big block hood that has the simulated chrome velocity stacks. The black stripes continue on to the rear trunk area. The top is factory black vinyl and is in perfect condition. The tires are basically brand new B F Goodrich Radial T/A's and are mounted on period correct Centerline polished and chromed wheels.
As far as first generation Camaros, this is one of the nicest we have had the pleasure of offering for sale. The restoration was very complete and extremely well done. The paint was very professionally applied, definitely of show quality. The interior has been detailed and is totally free of any signs of wear. This includes the headliner, door panels, center console, carpeting and of course the seats. The undercarriage has been detailed and is extremely clean needing nothing for displaying at car shows or for your own pleasure. The chrome bumpers are as new and all the stainless trim has either been restored or replaced. All the glass is in great condition with some slight imperfections due to normal usage. The engine is a recent installation of a GM crate 350 c.i. with just a few miles on it and the transmission was rebuilt at the same time. This Camaro drives and runs perfectly and needs absolutely nothing.
